Biography

Daniel R. "Dan" Gigler has been a trial attorney for over twenty-five years, practicing in various fields of civil law in the state and federal courts and taking dozens of cases to verdict before judges and juries. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, civil rights, employment, professional malpractice, products liability, immigration and other areas of litigation. More recently, Dan was responsible for the professional development of lawyers in a large national organization, where he conducted trial academies and seminars on courtroom practice as well as arbitration and mediation.

Dan has been chosen as an arbitrator in both court-supervised and private arbitrations for over twenty-five years and first conducted mediations nearly twenty years ago. He is certified by the Federal Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania as a mediator, arbitrator and early neutral evaluator of cases in litigation.
